KELLY SHAW

Principal, Vestigo Ventures

Kelly is an early-stage investor at Vestigo Ventures. Vestigo Ventures is a Cambridge, MA-based early-stage venture capital firm investing in technology companies focused on financial services. Prior to Vestigo Ventures, Kelly co-founded AlmaPact, now known as Stride Funding, which aims to transform education by providing student financing alternatives. AlmaPact won the MIT Fintech Competition in 2019!

Kelly’s first foray into Venture Capital was as part of the Synchrony Corporate Development team, where she invested or acquired start-ups in Fintech, Healthtech, and Commerce. Prior to Synchrony, Kelly was part of a small M&A team at GE Capital responsible for determining if GE should divest the bulk of GE Capital, and subsequently worked on the successful sale of $40B of divestitures of Commercial Lending and Leasing Assets.  Her early career has spanned roles in Financial Services in both Europe and the United States.

Kelly holds an MBA from that other Cambridge-based university, Harvard Business School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross, majoring in Economics and Spanish. A washed-up track athlete, Kelly can often be found running (albeit much more slowly) along the Charles River.
