For Startups:

We realize there is often a co-ordination problem between startups and potential job candidates. Not equipped with the same 'recruitment machinery' that tech and finance companies are, startups may find it difficult to sniff out the right candidates.  Students, on the other hand, may find the networking to secure a startup job tedious and inefficient.

Therefore we invite any startups interested in hiring to give a 2 minute pitch about their company and who they are looking for. At the end of the 2 minute pitch, the person pitching is invited to leave his or her contact details on the blackboard (sometimes, we forgo technology for a good ol' piece of chalk).

This event will be from 10:35 am to 10:50 am and from 3:20 pm to 3:35 pm during morning and afternoon coffee breaks, leaving the option for potential recruiters and jobseekers to connect in person throughout the day.

Please note that startups pitching will still be responsible for procuring tickets on their own accord to attend the Conference. We welcome pitches for any kind of candidate and do not restrict pitches to that targeted at current students or MIT students.
