Biography
Jake has been involved in FinTech for over a decade — he started his journey as one of the co-founders of NerdWallet before becoming a prolific angel investor. Today, he is a Founding Partner at Better Tomorrow Ventures (BTV). Prior to NerdWallet, Jake studied studied math and quantitative finance at MIT and traded interest rate derivatives at JPMorgan.
Prior to BTV, Jake and his BTV co-founder invested in Albert, ChipperCash, ClearCover, Ethic, Ethos Insurance, Drip Capital, Flexport, Hippo, Human Interest, Indio (exit), Ironclad, Kin, Lattice, Modus Closing (exit), Nova Credit, Ramp, and Starship.
