Sergio Jiménez Amozurrutia

Biography
Sergio Jiménez Amozurrutia is Co-Founder and CEO of Flink. He was born in Mexico City and raised in Veracruz. He studied business administration at Universidad Anáhuac Xalapa which is where he discovered his passion for financial services and entrepreneurship. Sergio would go on to work for 4 years at Crece, a SOFOM and consumer lending business in Veracruz.
He met Flink’s other cofounder Rick Rafael Bueno in 2015 at a hackathon at Tech de Monterrey. In 2015, Rick and Sergio started building Easy Credit, a consumer lending fintech platform which they sold in 2016 to start Flink.
Sergio enjoys playing soccer and has played competitive tennis nationally and internationally.
