Biography
Steve Le Roux is the Founder and CEO of Envel, a next-generation AI-powered Digital banking committed to effortlessly guide users’ to greater financial wellbeing and freedom.
Whilst studying towards a Masters in Finance at Harvard University, Steve invented a new way of banking based on the intersection of ethics and Artificial Intelligence to fully address behavioral economic challenges. Steve also recently graduated from Oxford Saïd Business School’s renowned Fintech Program.
Steve is a visionary, innovator, and FinTech/Tech Entrepreneur with 2 exits and has been successful in leading game-changing innovation within Government, Financial Services, NGOs, and FTSE 100 companies. He founded a SaaS-based Tech company back in mid-2000s that was red hot in the city of London, but lost the race to Salesforce. Steve is proud to have been awarded an Honors by the British Virgin Islands Government in 2012. Currently serves as Advisory Board Member to Lafferty Group International Retail Banking and Fintech Council. Received an Innovation Award from FTSE 100 company in 2015. Steve is a proud husband, and father of 3-year-old daughter. Passionate about wildlife, science, and a former state champion track athlete.
